Die im Jahre 1617 gegründete Waisenhausstiftung Ingolstadt ist Trägerin des Peter-Steuart-Hauses.
Das Peter-Steuart-Haus ist eine Kinder- und Jugendhilfeeinrichtung mit ambulanten, teilstationären und stationären Jugendhilfeangeboten.
Unser teilstationärer Bereich umfasst eine Kinderkrippe, einen Kindergarten, einen Schulkindergarten sowie einen Sozialpädagogischen Hort.
Leitlinien und Schwerpunkte
- In unserer Einrichtung stehen das Kind und seine Entwicklung zu einer eigenverantwortlichen und gemeinschaftsfähigen Person im Mittelpunkt. Die Kinder sollen unter Einbeziehung ihrer Lebensbedingungen ihr Umfeld wahrnehmen und erkunden. Soziales Lernen und Handeln zentriert sich im gegenseitigen Akzeptieren und im Aufbau sozialer Kompetenzen.
- Wir gehen in unserer Haltung davon aus, dass das Kind von Geburt an seine Entwicklung und Bildung aktiv mitgestaltet. Der natürliche Wissensdrang des Kindes wird dabei als wertvolle Voraussetzung angesehen.
- Unsere situationsorientierte Kindertageseinrichtung bietet eine anregende Umgebung, die eine gute Grundlage für Lernen und Entwicklung darstellt.
- Wichtig ist uns dabei, das Spiel als die elementarste Form des Lernens anzusehen. In einer wertschätzenden Atmosphäre kann sich das Kind seinem individuellen Stand entsprechend entwickeln. Voraussetzung für unser Tun ist die Mitwirkung der Eltern bzw. Sorgeberechtigten mit dem Ziel einer tragfähigen Kooperation.
